The following are several planned giving options.

Charitable Remainder Trust:
An important method of benefiting a charitable cause is to bequest a specific sumof money or property in your will. For those with the ability to do so, a gift of appreciated property, such as stock or real estate, offers the most advantage to donors.

Charitable Lead Annuity Trust:
Donors may also consider creating a Charitable Lead Annuity Trust. This trust will make annual payments to The EyeCare Foundation for a fixed number of years (the life of the trust, typically 10, 15, or 20 years) with the remainder passing on to descendants or to a trust for their benefit. This gifting technique benefits the charity by providing income and it benefits descendants by allowing equity to be passed to them with less gift tax liability.
